My first favourite is definitely maybelline's baby lips, these came out in America ages ago and i had been hearing loads about them so when they finally came out here in the UK i knew i had to try one so me and my friends went to boots and when we finally found them we were so happy that there was 3 left, enough for each of us to get one, the first one i got was the mint fresh one and since then i have picked up the pink punch and cherry me ones as well because i love them so much!
My next favourite is my Soap & glory smoothie star body milk which was great for after i had been on holiday and my skin was starting to peel, I've also been loving my soap & glory sugar crush body wash which i have just bought my third bottle of as it smells amazing!
my next favourite isn't beauty related it is actually a film (i might actually have a film of the month each month) it is monsters inc/university, i have been obsessed with anything monsters inc related which is driving my mam a bit mad i even have monsters inc fluffy socks which i am in love with! Another film i loved this month is The conjuring although it did terrify me i guess that makes it a good film.
For my favourite TV shows this month i couldn't pick between these two so I'll have to say Teen wolf and Supernatural as i have been obsessed with them both.
Finally my favourite song of the month for August has too be all the little lights by passenger as it is such a beautiful song.
so here's a list of shows i watch: One tree hill, Friends, Gossip girl, Pretty little liars, Twisted, The fosters, The big bang theory,How i met your mother, The o.c, 90210, Teen wolf, Supernatural, Criminal Minds, Awkward and Suburgatory, Im sure there's more but i can't for the life of me think of what they are.
I've spoke about One tree hill and Friends on this blog in the past and i still stand by that they are two of my favourite shows and i can and have watched them over and over again but i've also came to love criminal minds i only started watching it at the beginning of this year after hearing so much about it from one of my friends and i'm so glad i did because it allowed me to build on something i love which is psychology and more specifically criminal psychology. (it also introduced me to Matthew Gray Gubler which y'know i'm not complaining about).

I'm going to take another quote from Peyton sawyer it's a bit of a long one but it's true and it gets across my point pretty well so here it is "You know I've got this theory, there are two kinds of people in the world. There are lyric people and music people. You know, the lyrics people tend to be analytical. You know, all about the meaning of the song. They're the ones you see with the CD insert out like 5 minutes after buying it, pouring over the lyrics, interpreting the hell out of everything. Um, then there’s the music people, like Brooke. Who could care less for the lyrics as long as its just got like a good beat and you could dance to it. I don’t know, sometimes it might be easier to be a music girl and not a lyric girl. But since I’m not, let me just say this. Sometimes things find you when you need them to find you, I believe that. And for me its usually song lyrics." So basically i believe what Peyton believes, some people care about the music and some people care about the lyrics and me I'm a bit of both but mainly I'm a lyrics girl because i like songs that mean something to me and usually songs mean something to me because they have amazing lyrics.
I've already made a post of 100 songs to change your life which were literally my favourite songs of all time (well at the time that i posted them) and that post is my most viewed post on my blog so I've decided i would do a bit of an update, not another 100 songs but my favourite songs right now so here it is, my songs of the moment.
avicii - wake me up
miley Cyrus - we can't stop
robin thicke - blurred lines
one direction - best song ever
Florida Georgia line - cruise
One Republic - counting stars
passenger- let her go
passenger - all the little lights
passenger - things that stop you dreaming
demi lovato - warrior
wakey!wakey! - dance so good
wakey!wakey! - light outside
jacks mannequin - the mixed tape
clouds - Zach sobiech
Ben Howard - only love
so there it is my top 15 songs at the moment, these obviously aren't all because i love the lyrics and they aren't in any order but they are the songs I've found myself listening to most often through out this summer.

After my exams finished on the 19th of june i had one day off and then it was prom which i had been looking forward to ever since my brother had his prom so like for the past 7 years and well the whole night was amazing! As well as loving the actual prom i loved getting ready, having people do my hair and make up, doing my nails and getting ready into my dress was so much fun. Once i was ready i went up to my friend katie's house where me and my friends were meeting to go in our limo to beamish hall where our prom was, while we were there we took lots of photos so these are just some of the ones i love
from left to right, Amy, Sophie, Beth, Me, Ellie, Chloe, Katie, Harriet and Zoe

My first favourite has to the Essie mint candy apple nail polish, i heard about this from Zoe of zoella and bethany of macbarbie07 and i just knew i had to have so i went out and i bought it and i have been in love ever since and every time i want to paint my nails this is what i reach for i basically just love this nail polish.
my next favourite is a product i got for christmas in the benefit sexy little stowaways set and that is the bella bamba 3D brightening face powder. I've been loving this lately as i've had a lot of exams which means a lot of late nights and early morning and generally when i have an exam i can't really be bothered to do much make up this really helps to brighten up my face.
my next favourites go together and they are the rimmel wake me up foundation and concealer which again are amazing on those early mornings when i want to look a bit more awake. The real techniques buffing brush also goes along with this as i have been loving this brush for applying my foundation as it gives amazing coverage!
my final beauty favourite is the wella thermal image heat protect spray, i've been loving this as i've been trying to use less heat on my hair as i had been straightening my hair every day and it was starting to have an effect on my hair however there's still odd times when i want to straighten my hair so this is great to avoid damaging my hair too much.
Now onto my non beauty favourites, first of all my favourite tv show for may has to be one tree hill, i've been loving this show since january but i finally bought the season 1 dvd and i've just been watching it whilst doing my revision and i love it just as much now as i did when i first watched it.
My favourite book of the month this month has to be the last song although technically i finished this book yesterday so not in may i started reading this on friday whilst sunbathing in the garden and i loved it so much that i read it within two days! i've loved the film ever since it came out but for some reason i had never read the book so i'm so glad i finally read it!
And finally my favourite songs of the month, this is really hard to chose but i thinking i'm going ot have to go with imagine dragons on top of the world which is just one of the many imagine dragons songs i've been loving lately and mcfly love is easy but this version -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=973eVyHzs_0 as i saw it and completely fell in love with mcfly again. so that's it these are all of my May favourites :)

i'm obviously going to keep adding to this list however for now this is all i've got and i can't wait to be able to cross some more things off this list.
When a mysterious young woman named Katie appears in the small North Carolina town of Southport, her sudden arrival raises questions about her past. Beautiful yet self-effacing, Katie seems determined to avoid forming personal ties until a series of events draws her into two reluctant relationships: one with Alex, a widowed store owner with a kind heart and two young children; and another with her plainspoken single neighbor, Jo. Despite her reservations, Katie slowly begins to let down her guard, putting down roots in the close-knit community and becoming increasingly attached to Alex and his family.
But even as Katie begins to fall in love, she struggles with the dark secret that still haunts and terrifies her... a past that set her on a fearful, shattering journey across the country, to the sheltered oasis of South port. With Jo’s emphatic and stubborn support, Katie eventually realizes that she must choose between a life of transient safety and one of riskier rewards... and that in the darkest hour, love is the only true safe haven.
Katie seems sweet and unassuming, but you can tell that she's put up a wall around herself and while reading we get to witness this wall begin to break down as Katie forms a relationship with Alex. Eventually we get to see the vulnerability and fear that Katie has been hiding and as soon as i found out what her secret was all i wanted was for her to be safe. Which is where Alex comes in he and Katie fall in love (which isn't really surprising as Nicholas sparks novels are always full of romance) and we get to see Alex protect Katie in the end of the book, i'm obviously not going to spoil the book but lets just say there is more action than you would expect from a Nicholas sparks book.
overall this is an amazing book, it managed to make me smile and cry and when a book has the ability to do that a tend to think it is a good book which would mean this is one of the best, so if you're a fan of Nicholas Sparks or just romantic novel i would recommend this book to you.

First i figure i should explain what the book is about before i go any further. So basically looking for Alaska is about miles who decides to go away to boarding school so that he can seek 'the great perhaps' There he meets his roommate and soon-to-be best friend, Chip, called the Colonel, and Alaska Young, the moody, gorgeous, wild girl who instantly becomes the object of his lust. Until about halfway through the book a tragedy occurs, and those left spend the rest of the book trying to make sense of it, to solve the mystery it leaves behind, and to pull off one last, greatest-ever prank.
One of the reasons i love this book so much is because of how beautifully written it is, so much so that throughout the book i went from laughing to crying to laughing again. By the end of the book i fully felt like i had connected with the characters and had fallen in love with each and every one of them which is something i don't often get with books i tend to just fall in love with one character so i was so happy that i loved these characters so much. Not only did i love the characters in this book but i loved the story line i love how well written it is and how its not just a typical love story like i was expecting it to be. This book will probably stay my favourite book for a long time now and i would recommend this to anyone as i feel like this book isn't just fot teenage girls i think it could be enjoyed by people of all ages.

I am a huge fan of all of the benefit products but my favourites have to be both the they're real and bad gal lash mascaras, i love bad gal lash mainly because of the huge brush which enables me to get long full looking lashes which is something i have never felt i have got from a mascara in the past.
I actually got the they're real mascara as a birthday present from my friend katie last year and i have been using it ever since, one of my favourite things about this mascara is that it stops my lashes from looking clumpy which is obviously something i look for in a mascara.
Apart from mascaras one of my favourite products from benefit would have to be the porefessional which is an amazing product and really does minimize the size of my pores. Overall benefit products are some of my favourite beauty products and despite the rather expensive pricing i would recommend them to anyone.

One tree hill is literally my favourite programme of all time. I fell in love with it when i decided to watch the first episode at the beginning of this year and since then i have been completely hooked on it, so much so that as soon as i finished watching all 9 seasons i started again, and then after that i started again.
I have never loved a tv programme as much as i love one tree hill, it has helped me and taught me so much which is something i never thought that a programme could do. I literally love every single thing about it, i love every character, every episode, i love every story line and the way that one tv show has managed to effect me so much. I can't wait until i can get the box set so i can watch it whenever i want as i now i am going to be re-watching this show for a long time.
After hearing my cousins talk about how amazing friends was for ages i Recently decided i would watch it. I honestly have no idea why it has took me this long to finally start to watch it but i'm so glad that i did, i actually love it already, it never fails to make me laugh and can cheer me up no matter what. I love each character for different reasons and i'm sure this is one of them programmes that i'm going to end up watching over and ovr again.
Although i am sad about this (well at least some people) i had such an amazing last day of school with all of my friends and actually wish i could go back and repeat the whole day.

I got this idea from one of my all time favorite tv shows one tree hill and I've been working on this list for quite a while now and have only just finished it, I'm sure many of these songs will probably change at some point and I'll always keep updating this list as i love finding new music to listen to. Like Peyton Sawyer music is a big part of my life and I don't think there will ever be a day in my life where I don't listen to at least one song as music always helps me. Anyway this is my current list of 100 songs to save my life:

Harriet, Katie, Me and Amy at the concert waiting for one direction to come on stage
One direction coming over the audience!
On Monday i was lucky enough to see one direction in concert for the third time after seeing them for the first time at the x factor tour in march 2011 and again at the up all night tour in January last year which was amazing and is a night i will never forget. The whole night was amazing from arriving and seeing one direction leaving their tour bus to standing outside with load of other fans hoping to be lucky enough to meet the boys which unfortunately we were not but still the night was amazing!
Finally seeing one direction on Monday was such an amazing experience and was probably one of the best nights of my life, I was so thankful to get to go to this tour as i knew how many people wanted to go and were unable to get tickets the whole experience was just incredible including the build up to the concert which seemed to last forever as me and my friends counted down the days for over a year!
When we arrived at the arena and got to our seats I was so happy to be so close to the stage and we were all so excited waiting for the support acts to begin, although I wasn't a huge fan of Camryn i think it is amazing how young she is and how she is touring the world with one direction. When 5 seconds of summer came on I was surprised how much I like them, but nothing could beat the atmosphere in the room when one direction finally came on stage the whole room just erupted into screams. One of my favorite places to be is in an arena full of people who all feel the same way as i do and who are all as happy to be there as I am and I hope some day I'll be able to experience that feeling again as I am already looking forward to their next tour and hope I'll be lucky enough to get tickets.
